Sélection Retraite launches its podcast ‘‘Raconte-Moi : Une histoire de jeunesse’’4 March 2021
Laval, March 3rd, 2021 – Sélection Retraite, a division of Selection Group, is proud to launch its first podcast targeting “young at heart” seniors that live in retirement complexes and the broader public. Hosted by Patrick Hébert, animator at Sélection Retraite Valleyfield, Raconte-Moi: Une histoire de jeunesse highlights retirees who share youth oriented insights. Did these ambassadors become “young at heart” when they retired? Or did they remain “big kids” throughout their lives? [PD1]
Sélection Retraite is pleased to turn the microphone over to this new generation of innovative retirees, aged 70 and over, who remain under-represented in digital media. The initiative is part of Sélection Retraite’s mission to provide quality content on a multitude of digital platforms to which its residents and other Québec seniors are increasingly connected.
In the first episode we learn about cycling enthusiasts Mireille and Jean Charbonneau, residents of Sélection Retraite Valleyfield, who log between 1,500 and 2,000 km each year during their annual trip to Niagara Falls. The couple discuss their physical preparation and share stories from the eight times they made the journey. In the second episode Mariette Content will talk about her new passion: tattoos! Content got her first tattoo last fall at the age of 76 and quickly became fascinated with this creative art. What was this first tattoo that inspired her so much? How did she become so passionate? Listen and find out!
